This Code of Conduct Governs all interactions with ifueko's Online Technical Resources

The content distributed by Ifueko Igbinedion, via events and collaborators is dedicated to providing technical resources to those hoping to achieve their engineering career goals, espeically students of color. I recognize that the journey to your dream engieering career is one paved with windy roads, struggle and success, and our goal is to provide resources such that we can all succeed together. Furthermore, we also abide by the terms of the Contributor Covenant, version 2.0.
The mission of this work is to provide the actionable skills that everyone interested in engineering, and especially students of color, need to succeed in their chosen career path. Through this work, first and foremost, we are dedicated to maintaining a positive, harrassment-free experience for everyone consuming our content, regardless of personal identity. We understand the diversity in every aspect of internal and external being of those consuming our content, and we pledge to act in ways that facilitate an welcoming, diverse and equitable envirnment for the inclusion of all.
We are dedicated to maintaining a positive environment. Standards we value as a community include:
- Kindness, understanding, and empathy when interacting with people of all backgrounds
- Disagree directly and with respect and kindness first
- Constructive criticism always: never hate
- Self awareness and accountability as well as forgiveness
- Community-first thought, dedicated to the support of the margnialized
Hate, harrassment and other behavior fostering a negative environment are uncceptable, including:
- Public or private harrasment or stalking
- Hate speech, verbal attacks and other forms of online bullying
- Trolling or other unwanted online attacks
- Doxxing and the other unauthorized release of personal information
- Other actions that undermine the facilitation of a welcoming and inclusive space
As collaborators and leaders, we are responsible for both clearly expresing and encorcing our aformentioned values, as well as respect the privacy and security of those wishing to come forward following an incident.
This Code of Conduct applies within all community spaces led by myself, Ifueko Igbinedion, and also applies to my collaborator community interaction in public spaces.
Instances of unacceptable behavior can be reported to me at[email protected]. All complaints will be reviewed and investigated promptly and fairly while respecting the privacy and security of the reporter of any incident.
