The configuration of the extension is not loaded in the first iteration and it should be manually stored. This should be fixed by setting defaults if none is present.
Nowadays, the application lacks of a main icon and a fullscreen screenshot to illustrate it.
Something has to be done to fix the HTML code shown in the extension FAQ because it overlaps the rest of the text.
Seems like there's a 4-year old "bug" or feature improvement request lurking regarding notifications
which Chrom(e/ium) devs haven't done anything about yet:

An options tab should be added as well as storage permisions.
A combo box might be used in the Options tab.
Letting the user choose the text to be seen in the badge when a Punycode URL is being used.
