Deployment

You can use the provided Dockerfile to build and serve this slightly antique Jekyll page.

Midi controlers

Hi, can I use my Yamaha DTX400 via Midi?

Error opening file.

When I try to open a project Hydrogen gives an error and no explanation.
If this is not quickly resolved I will look for another program.

Mail to hydrogen bounces

C3 problem Not possible to reload imported drumkits

When exporting to MIDI, all patterns play the same key (C3). A workaround was to reload the instrument. This works fine with the two default kits (System kits stored in the Applicationfolder during the installation) If i try to load an imported kit, all notes again are C3. I can not find where the imported kits are stored. Wanted to try to move them from the User drumkits to the System drumkits.

Invalid SSL cert for www.hydrogen-music.org

Sorry if this isn't the right place to report this. The SSL cert for www.hydrogen-music.org has been invalid since at least 2020-11-26 (documented). The error type is NET::ERR_CERT_COMMON_NAME_INVALID. I'm guessing it's just a case of server misconfiguration.

Auto-Adjust Song When Inserting/Removing Patterns (Not a new issue, just a question)

Is there a way to insert or remove a pattern from an existing song and have the rest of the patterns auto-adjust to accommodate the change(s)? Currently when I want to change an existing song I have to manually move every pattern individually and it's a real PITA, not to mention inspirationally stifling. Especially when it's a song with close to 100 different patterns. Or is there a smarter way to approach this problem?

Enable TLS on hydrogen-music.org

Visiting https://hydrogen-music.org/ or https://www.hydrogen-music.org/ leads to a certificate error, as GitHub serves a certificate only valid for GitHub subdomains.

As of last year, GitHub supports TLS for custom domains by hosting sites on a CDN. This means updating the DNS records for hydrogen-music.org and www.hydrogen-music.org should be enough to enable TLS via Let’s Encrypt.

Was working, saved a song in the works, crashed and won't restart.

I was using the program for some months now. Had made several songs. While working on one, I tried to save my current work on it and the program crashed. Now it refuses to restart. I reinstalled the program. I renamed my song files to see if that was the issue. Yes and No, Yes the program starts, but now the frames of the program are all wonky. I tried to load the song I was working on(spent over a month working on), the program crashes again, refuses to start again. Using Win10.

Website inaccessible (404 Not Found)

When I try to go to hydrogen-music.org or https://hydrogen-music.github.io/hydrogen-music/ (which redirects back to hydrogen-music.org), the page doesn't load due to a 404 Not Found error.

Different Language In Hydrogen Tool Bar And Commands

I downloaded Hydrogen for MAC OS, but for some reason the tool bar and all commands are in Russian. How can I fix this?

functionalities

I'm new to Hydrogen (using the 1.0.0-beta1) and just finished my first song programming. With a bit of trial and error, the program is pretty easy to use - well done and thanks to you guys out there.
A few features I noticed missing:

• 'half-open hi-hat' as well as 'bell' without sound file
• changing drum sounds (attack, decay, pitch ...) doesn't work - coming later on?
  It would be very cool to have a 'flam' function as well as a second crash cymbal to provide some variation in crash sounds.
  Otherwise I'm pretty happy with the program,

Drumkit Online Import Fail

The Drumkit Online Import Fails for a number of Sound Libraries.
It may be that the path to these are incorrect or the files do not exist in the repository.
