Cool to see that you start this project. I got mine yesterday and was immediately looking for an alterative to the app. If I can help you with anything (e.g. collecting traces for my device ‎CS-WP8, debugging, documentation, etc.) just let me know.

• If we can set the user weight, then the calorie number on the treadmill might be useable
• Parse fitness machine fields

The commands detailed in the protocol README worked the other night.

Now they don't.

I suspect, that there's some sort of handshake when the device connects that must have persisted from an app run but isn't recorded in the protocol.

The first time the app is launched we want to run the following:

• Welcome splash
• Get health integration permissions
• Get/Comfirm weight/height
• Find treadmill and store

Write out steps etc at end of workout.

No heart rate stuff.

An easy way to discover if:

• We have health access
• We have sensor data
• etc.

Whelp, there's a standard that this seems to be following:

I don't know why, but I don't want it to stop me from beginning to develop the actual project so...

We need:

Next to nothing is tested UI wise

We can pull this from Health if permitted, otherwise we can prompt for user input

We either need to make a logo, or generate a logo

We need a nav frame with the following empty screens:

• Home
• Workouts (Plans)
• History
• Settings

The template doesn't come with DI, let's sort that

• Make the UI nicer
• Refactor the flow from UI -> BLE so the UI isn't making multiple calls

The name is:

1. Terrible
2. Possibly a copyright issue
3. A pain if we choose to support more treadmills later

The modular approach to DI was nice but it's for more complicated than is necessary for a project of this scale

It's buggy and the OSS component libs suck.
