How to Start 🚀

Want to be a openlysource community member , take these steps :-

1 fork this repo , copy the URL and run this command in vs code terminal

git clone URL

2 Change the directory by running this command

cd openlysource

3 Now install the dependencies by running this command

npm install

4 Run the application by running this command

npm run start

Runs the app in the development mode.
Open http://localhost:3000 to view it in your browser.

I have noticed one thing that people are not able to understand " what is openlysource community " . So , this issue is not for coders this is basically for anyone who is creative enough to answer that who we are , make a presentation on topic "who we are" -
this presentation can also includes images and videos . In this presentation what questions should be answered ->

• Q1 -> what actually is open source and open source contribution ?
• Q2 -> why should i give my time to open-source contribution?
• Q3 -> what are the advantages of open-source contribution and how it can help you to land a job 4 or 5 times of MAANG job in terms of salary ?

opportunities is one of the important part of openlysource , here you get all the information regarding upcoming open source opportunities like gsoc , sob , mlh fellowship and many more open source organization's events

so these apis work like in this way , when a user fills up the member form -
in which he set his/her name , upload profile pic , github profile link and his/her thought on open source
on submitting the form the post request trigger and get request is used to render that data of members in form of testimonials

Change website font to Google Font [Sofia Sans]
