Była to pierwsza w moim życiu prezentacja. Bardzo dziękuję Tomkowi za cenne uwagi, które pomogły mi w jej przygotowaniu.

Przykłady bazują na giście autorstwa Hanno Zulla. Dziękuję mu za możliwość wykorzystania ich w prezentacji.

Ostatni przykład zawierający motyw z utworu "Sweet Child O' Mine" jest inspirowany wystąpieniem Sam'a Aarona z TEDxNewcastle (prezentacja w języku angielskim).

Autorem motywu dub techno pod koniec prezentacji jest Jindrich Mynarz.

Kawałek kodu/muzyki o który pytał Tomek podczas prezentacji (praca domowa) to motyw przewodni z gry Mario Bros. Został napisany przez Xaviera i znajduje się tutaj.

Aby zacząć zabawę z Sonic Pi wystarczy pobrać i zainstalować aplikację z oficjalnej strony Sonic Pi. Jest ona dostępna na platformy: Raspberry Pi, Mac OS, Windows i Linux.

Ruby as your first music instrument

Presentation was held in polish language. It took place on April, 20th 2016 at the WRUG meetup.

You can watch it on YouTube. It's available thanks to kindness of Kamil Grabowski and Whitestream company.

It was my first ever presentation. I'd like to thanks to Tomek for all his valuable comments during preparations.

Introduction examples are based on gist by Hanno Zulla. I'd like to thanks him that I could use them in my presentation.

Last example with theme from "Sweet Child O' Mine" was inspired by Sam's Aaron talk from TEDxNewcastle.

At the end of the presentation I've played some dub techno theme. It was created by Jindrich Mynarz.

Snippet/music that Tomek asked me about (homework) is the main theme from Mario Bros game. It was arranged by Xavier and You can find it here.

If You'd like to play with Sonic Pi then all You need to do is downlad and install it from official website. It's available for Raspberry Pi, Mac OS, Windows & Linux.
