A Tutorial on Synthesizing FLAIR and DIR for Multiple Sclerosis Patients

This is a tutorial on synthesizing FLAIR and DIR using generative adversarial networks (AttenGAN) and the combination of T1 and T2.

First, make sure you are in a virtual environment. Then install the neccessary packages via:

pip install -r requirements.txt

data preparation

The task is to translate T1 and T2 modalities to FLAIR and DIR modalities with attention (segmentation) masks. Thus, we need to read the data from raw scans and save them into 2D slices.
