Some build scripts are so messy some organization and a comment might help.

e.g. skip if [[ -z ${line} ]] || [[ ${line} == #* ]]

Need to do after since allowing wildcards.

Can change control on the fly, maintainer scripts should be static, many uses cases might need to change the paths on the fly too (e.g. pick some specific version or something...)

Currently broken files without tabs will only fail lazily, which is confusing and could be a common error. Want to catch early and tell directly.

Adds fluff to program. Maybe can delegate that elsewhere; just explain to people so they can it themselves? Make it very !intimidating.

That should cover pretty much all use cases. Allows using custom paths for the control files, custom paths for files to copy, and overwriting control on the fly without having to mess with the parsing and whatnot.
