Hello, I'm a maker, I'm trying to build several medical device in reaction of this crysis.
Yours seems very promising and interesting, as an engineer working with several fablab i believe i could manage to build one.
But since I'm not a medic, I wonder what is the process to detect the virus ?
Do you have a process which explain what is needed (chemical co;ponent, etc...) and how to make conclusion based on the results ?

I have got some troubles with compiling sketch. When I verify sketch this error is appeared:

Neither inkscape not tinkercad can not open the latest version of the svg files.

As an example this is the error message when trying to open one of them:

Has anyone found a suitable component to replace this?

Error "Peltier can't achieve the target temperature" occurs when final hold temperature is lower than room temp.

Affordable Real-Time PCR can be a Pandora's box. I'm making it partly because I believe technology should be belonged to all citizens equally, not to governments. But Real-Time PCR is too sensitive and it easily amplify contaminated virus RNA. People without proper knowledge may become panic with the wrong results and make long lines at hospitals that cannot be managed.

In this issue, I want to welcome ideas how to avoid such worst cases. In my opinion, guideline for reliable test, all detailed steps and how to build required facilities (ex. room with bio safety level 2, depressurized room, autoclave) should be opened together so that people in developing country where government cannot afford enough test can test themselves. What we need besides Real-Time PCR?

I also would like to know how can we get reagents for diagnostic purpose. Most of reagents are sold as "laboratory use only".

• Add 1 pin to turn on/off 20W 1-2ohm cement resistor to save voltage of peltier(1 ohm) to cool room temperature -15 degree Celsius (Currently -5 degree is maximum)

• Add power switch

• Add 1 pin for LED to show status, especially when it’s done. Not important if IFTTT is supported.

We are reaching out because we would love to have your project listed on Open Neuroscience, and also share information about this project:

Open Neuroscience is a community run project, where we are curating and highlighting open source projects related to neurosciences!

Briefly, we have a website where short descritptions about projects are listed, with links to the projects themselves, their authors, together with images and other links.

Once a new entry is made, we make a quick check for spam, and publish it.

Once published, we make people aware of the new entry by Twitter and a Facebook group.

To add information about their project, developers only need to fill out this form

In the form, people can add subfields and tags to their entries, so that projects are filterable and searchable on the website!

The reason why we have the form system is that it makes it open for everyone to contribute to the website and allows developers themselves to describe their projects!

Also, there are so many amazing projects coming out in Neurosciences that it would be impossible for us to keep track and log them all!

Where are the todo list?

Label on console says "Peltier is heating" even if it's actually cooling.
It's caused because the firmware is sending "absolute" values of Peltier drive instead of signed values.
