I think HelloPhoneGap needs updating to 1.5 especially that we could not find any PhoneGap1.3 version anymore.

No download for PhoneGap 1.3 library that goes with this example at the moment.

Probably you need to git clone PhoneGap 1.5 when you update this demo so it will not be obsolete when PhoneGap updates to another version again.

Hi there hutley,

I've made some changes into your NativeControls and added option for user set a background image for createTabBar() if it don't want the default glossy black.

I made a branch of yours and tried publish it so you could see but gave 403 / Forbiden so i don't have permissions :(

Currently i made bg-image but i'm trying make option for both #color and bg-image. Maybe you can even help in that, since the view is always getting blackbg or maybe my image is losing it's alpha, dunno..

I really like the plugin that you have built here. However, I am having some diffecults.

I started using the version that is hosted over at:
https://github.com/phonegap/phonegap-plugins

However, that version has a very different build of the NavBar. So I attempted to make your NavBar portion work with that version. Being a n00b at Objective-C, that may not have been the best way to go.

Could you help me port that portion of the plugin over or could you give me some pointers on how I might be able to do it. I would gladly put it back up on github for others to use.
