Dealios

A chrome extension produced by the HI Capacity makerspace in Honolulu.

Dealios aggregates deal site information in one place so you don't have to.

Currently the following sites and cities are supported:

• Honolulu - Groupon, Hawaii Hot Deals, Living Social, Tippr, Crowd Savings (Formally Play Hawaii)
• Chicago - Groupon

Dealios also notifies you when new deals are posted by changing the extension icon color from gray to green.

Add additional support for Hawaii deal sites

Ryan Ozawa has suggested:

In addition to Groupon, Hawaii Hot Deals, Living Social, are
you looking to add others? Tippr, PlayHawaii, Qmania, etc.? I presume
part of the limitation is whether these services offer a feed (as I
sure hope you're not manually adding updates!).

Should indicate if a deal is 'Sold Out'

Need to parse the feeds coming back and indicate to the end user if the deal is sold out. :)

Add support for more cities

Currently, only Honolulu and Chicago are supported. We want to eventually have all cities available. The city deal feeds are also hard coded in the extension. Perhaps we could write a web api to expose a deal feed API.

Highlight new deals

When a new deal comes in, we should mark it somehow in the deal list to tell users which deal just was found.
