git clone [LINK]

Creates local copy of repo

git status

Shows the status of local repo

git add

Stages files for commit

git commit

Creates a 'timestamp' which you can revert to

git push

Sends commits to origin (Github)

git pull

Brings changes from github to your computer

git branch [BRANCH-NAME]

Creates a branch...good for testing

git checkout [BRANCH-NAME]

Change to a branch

git merge [BRANCH-NAME]

First go to branch where you want to import changes. Then run get git merge [BRANCH-NAME] which brings changes from [BRANCH-NAME] to current branch
