The purpose of the employee tracker is for the overseeing manager or supervisor to have a digital database that stores information pertaining to each employee. The user of the database can view all employees, roles and departments stored inside the database. Storing the information inside the database allows information to be readily available given that the user can establish a connection to the database.
To run this application, the node packages inquirer and mysql are required.
After installing all necessary dependencies, the application can be started by typing "node index.js" into the terminal. Answer all relevant fields as well as choosing the necessary options such as adding a new employee, role, or department.
