2048 cupcakes: a 2048 clone, with cupcakes as the tiles!

2048 Cupcakes is a 2048-based game that uses almost exactly the same code, yet, uses cupcake images in place of the numbers. I figured that if I showed this to people, they might be able to easily make their own clones!

Here's a hint (for making your own): go to style/main.css at line 436: notice how there's a background property? Enjoy!

Build Instructions / Tutorial?

Great App and Demo with Cupcakes from the Original Game.

Would you consider and be able to put together a quick tutorial / getting started to building the game locally. Would be a great game to get kids started in coding and having a basic getting started guide would really help.

I have been playing the cupcake game for the past 3 years. I cannot express my love for this game. I play it every free second I have of every single day. Not a day has gone by where I haven't played. When I close my eyes at night, I see the game and I play it in my mind. It wasn't untill today, the long awaited day, I finally put two christmas cupcakes together. I cannot even begin to express my anger towards you can this game. WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE??? I spent nights tossing and turning wondering about what the next cupcake would be. Only to be dissapointed by A BLANK SCREEN. WHY MR. HENRY, WHY?? I am on my hands and knees begging you for an update. Please come back Mr. Henry. This might just be a silly cupcake game for you, but for it me it's my life

Dear Mr. Henry,

I began my year playing your cupcake game. It was a long awaited journey to the Christmas Cupcake. Once I achieved this and saw the beautiful Christmas Cupcake, I was overjoyed. I struggled for weeks and weeks anticipating what was next after the Christmas Cupcake. I even wondered if it would change for the next holiday. Henry, you can imagine my surprise when I combined two Christmas Cupcakes and found that there was in fact no bigger cupcake. Just a blank screen. I'm disappointed. Now, I did some research, and I found that you have not updated the game for 4 years!!! WTH!!! My year is ruined. Everything I've worked up to now seems useless. Henry, please, if you are out there, come back. Update the cupcakes. Give us bigger cupcakes. Do it for your loyal followers. Or else... I may just have to find a new game. Please Henry, please.
