Local machine name is not returned

For computers without Active Directory, the default machine name is not returned.
The ComboBox will then be empty after startup.

Restarting the program does not work if the user has never been logged in before

This error occurs because a user profile has not yet been created on the current computer. This means that the user you want to log in with would have to log in to the pc to create the user folder.

This error may be corrected if the new user pretends to be logging in.
