FBW Integration issues - Fuel amount loaded through the FMGC is incorrect.

How to reproduce it:

  • Fill a FP using simbrief.
  • Proceed to init your FMGC using simbrief's data.
  • Load the fuel using the FMGC

Expected result:

  • It loads the BLOCK fuel calculated for the flight that matches the simbrief's OFP.

Current result:

  • It seems to load the TRIP fuel calculated for the flight, which results in incorrect Fuel Planning and prediction values, leading to negative results.

Describe the bug

When performing the pre-flight cockpit preparation, the Simulator crashes with a memory error (segfault?) when opening the ECAM status page.
General aircraft status: APU started, Ext PWR disconnected, IRS still aligning, WX radar switched on, Forward pax door open (via FlyPad).

Expected behavior

The ECAM status page opens on the lower ECAM display when pressing the corresponding button and shows "Normal".

Steps to reproduce

  1. Load up a flight with the MSFS Flight Planner.
  2. Start the aircraft as usual, i.e. BAT/Ext PWR -> Fire test, fuel pumps -> APU + Ext PWR disc -> Light switches (as req.), IRS align, Cond. knobs set.
  3. Manually cycle through ECAM pages.
  4. Every page works except for the status page when selected last. I don't know if it's the same when selecting the status page earlier though.

Pause at TOD doesn't trigger when thrust is not in managed mod

    "pretty_release_name": "stable/v0.5-alpha.11",
    "version": "v0.5.0-HEAD.590518f"
}

Describe the bug

Two times in different flights the A339 didn't respect the Pause at TOD :
I've found it still flying at cruise level after to have overpass the last flightplan waypoint in the last heading it had the time it reached it.

After some tests, i've figured that the Pause at TOD doesn't trigger when the autothrust has not be enforced in managed mod.

Expected behavior

When the aircraft reach the point on flightplan, the distance it has been set in the EFB from the TOD point and the AP is on, the aircraft should pause the simulation, whatever the state of knobs on the FCU.
Pause at TOD should trigger if the autothrust is in managed mod or in selected mod.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Take the aircraft in cruise level, far away the TOD, with the AP on, and the autothrust in
  2. Setup in the EFB the Pause at TOD feature, at a random distance (at it seems to don't matter)
  3. Disconnect the AP : Pause is triggered.
  4. Click OK and reconnect the AP
  5. Disconnect the AP : Pause don't trigger
  6. Reconnect the AP and push the Speed Selector knob to enforce the managed speed
  7. Disconnect the AP : Pause trigger as it should

Describe the bug

When the plane is taxing the steering is not as accurate as it should be in real life. When you use differential thrust to help with steering the plane keeps on going forward instead of turning.

Expected behavior

The plane should be able to turn smoothly even around 13-15 knots. However the nose wheel steering doesn't work as intended.

  2. Try to taxi and take a turn around 13 knots
  3. Use differential thrust

    "actor": "Revyn112",
    "event_name": "manual",
    "pretty_release_name": "stable/v0.200"
}

Describe the bug

Occasionally when flying longer flights, more fuel seems to be used from the left main tank. This happens even though the fuel used by each engine is roughly the same (in the case of the following screenshot, no.1 engine actually used 1000lbs LESS than no.2). Opening the crossfeed valve and turning off the pumps seems to slow down the fuel usage rate in the left tank, to about the same rate as the right tank.

Crossfeed not working does seem to be an issue upstream flybywiresim/aircraft#3120

I can't find any mention of fuel being pulled from the tank seemingly to nowhere.

Expected behavior

The rate the fuel is being pulled from each tank should be roughly equal. When opening crossfeed valve and shutting off the left fuel pumps, no fuel should be used and the balance should restore

Steps to reproduce

Starting at any airport, with fuel control panel all lights off, at cruise the fuel in the left tank decreases faster than in the right.

No response

Additional info (optional)

I know this one might be hard to reproduce, it happens to me on longer flights more often than it doesn't and I wish I was more aware of any steps to reproduce. I will update here if I figure anything else out.

when all set (passengers on board, flight plan included, etc.) one will need to enter details in MCDU / PERF / TAKE OFF RWY xx.
All buttons (LSK1L-LSK6L and LSK1R-LSK6R) work except LSK1L-LSK2L-LSK3L to insert the V1, VR and V2. I can push whatever I like but I will never get a calculated V1, Vr and V2 speed based on the figures already available in the MCDU (Fuel/Payload/etc.)

The same buttons LSK1L-LSK2L-LSK3L do work correctly while in MCDU / PERF / APPR to insert QNH, TEMP and MAG+WIND !

Hence I assume a bit or byte has dropped out in the TAKE OFF RWY xx page.

Describe the bug

Did a flight RJAA - KJFK noticed that simbrief gave me an exact fuel for my block time (with ETOPS, Alt, etc). It shouldve been much higher. so, before i took off i threw on an extra 20k LBS (making it exactly 180K) and im down to 8.2 for EFOB on landing. This needs some work on the simbrief aircraft and or the aircraft itself.

Expected behavior

SImbrief should've given me something well above 180K LBS fuel instead of the exact block fuel.

Steps to reproduce

  1. make and generate a flight on simbrief
  2. Load that fuel via efb
  3. brief and look at your flight route details via navigraph charts (weather, wind barbs, etc)
  4. you will notice that just generally eyeballing it was far too low.

Innacurate GWPS Callout [The A330-900 touches down on runway when GWPS Callout is on 10]

Aircraft Version

    "actor": "Revyn112",
    "event_name": "manual",
    "pretty_release_name": "stable/v0.200"
}

Describe the bug

During Flare Phase after passing 100ft the GWPS callout starts. However, right when the GWPS Callouts mentions 10 the aircraft touches down on the runway. My descend rate is normal at around 100-130 fps. So it should not drop that fast after the 10 GWPS Callout.

Expected behavior

When the GWPS Callout mentions 10 the Aircraft should still be 10ft AGL and I should still have time before the aircraft touchdown on the runway.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Set Arrival Data in the MCDU
  2. Set Baro (minimums) in the MCDU
  3. Enable Approach Phase in the MCDU
  4. Enable Approach Autopilot Function
  5. Enter the Aircraft into the g/s
  6. GWPS activates 2500 ft AGL
  7. Disable A/P on 500 ft AGL and initiate manual override for landing
  8. GWPS callsout at 10ft and the aircraft touches down at the exact same time.

No fuel on board and climb rate

I attempted a flight from KORD to LSZH today that ended with no fuel on board before reaching my cruise altitude. I loaded my fuel from the ATSU page and verified on the EFB fuel page that it was correctly loaded (I had 58 tons). When reaching 33000 feet my tanks were empty. the quantity in tank was correctly input in MCDU (INIT page and ATSU) and EFB.
Another issue I had was with the climb speed, on three occasions, my speed was exceeding the upper limit although my climb rate was normal for the altitude. I let it manage by itself and each time it would slowly go down to the set speed.
I thank you for your work and efforts to bring us a fair rendition of this beautiful airplane.

Describe the bug

Severe rolling when FPS get low

Expected behavior

Aircraft would maintain straight and level flight

Steps to reproduce

  1. Configure the sim in such a way that the FPS would be lowered
  2. Take off and monitor for a rolling motion

Additional info (optional)

  • Issue started when the first big update (V1?) was released and is still an issue in V2
  • Issue is not seen when flying the FBW A32NX, therefore is individual to the A339
  • Issue persists even when the autopilot is disconnected, therefore it is not linked to the autopilot's minimum FPS requirement
