About

A study tool that utilizes randomized flash card style studying for web developers. Mico tests users on their knowledge by asking the user questions based on the web development and computer science categories they choose and provides a comprehensive report at the end of the test.

Features

Customizable Flash Cards

• Choose from various categories in web development and also the option to have questions from multiple categories in the same test run.
• Choose length of test.

Comprehensive Test Report

• Report with all questions and answers for easy review by the user or by a peer. Printer friendly page available as well.
• Displays and records time for the entire test so users can keep track of performance.
• Links to resources for the particular question (if available).

mico's Issues

Add additional information in Question/Answer screen.

Possible additions: Display customizations picked. Record time taken per question.

Programming friendly answer input for coding challenges.

Currently for coding challenges, there is no way to test code as well as format it properly with indentations and newlines.

Website Accessibility

Insure accessibility features are added when possible.

Update styling on progress bar.

Question progress bar could use better styling.

Allow user test question contribution.

Currently the form in the 'Contribute' section is not yet implemented.

Website Responsiveness

Insure website is responsive to various screen sizes.

Reset test configurations when user navigates off the test.

Currently, when the user navigates off the test (such as using the navigation bar), when the user tries to start a new test, previous questions are not cleared.

Allow inputting multiple questions and answers on the same form for user question contribution.

Currently the form in 'Contribute' only accepts one question at a time.

Record when help button is clicked for each particular question.

Indicate in the results page when help was used to answer the particular question.

Add option to retake the same test with the same questions.

Currently there is no option to retake the same exact test with the same questions. Button to retake the test is already in Results component but it currently just sends an alert that the feature is not yet available.
