Hi, so i downloaded all the updated/new stuff and i had the old Growl work on old versions. but when i select a note in editor and use the script this time, it doesnt do anything and i see a .cfg file pop up in my folder using the settings i picked... not sure if i am missing something, but it doesnt seem to work.

I feel like I've tried everything to get this to work but every time I try to run the "Load pitch" script I get this exact error.

Now it throws an error, better to display info box.

The script functions normally under paths in pure English, but it is unable to open files under paths containing non-English characters. For example:

I've located the error in io.open() function of Lua and have found it not working correctly when non-English characters are included in the file path argument. I've tested the script with Chinese, Japanese and Korean, and none of them works. However, I don't know how to fix this problem. I've only looked into the growl script but I think this problem exists in all the scripts in this repository because they all use the io.open() function.
