Trying to open the binary through CMD gets me with this error. I've tried just double clicking the binary as well, but the cmd window closes before I can even type. Also, I've set it as an exclusion in windows defender.

I downloaded the latest Mac version of this tool (0.5.5), but the file downloaded has no file extension and renaming it to .app, .sh, etc still doesn't make it workable.

If you've discontinued the Mac version tho you should probably remove it from the readme

I downloaded the right version of the latest release .exe file. I then ran it as administrator, but nothing really happened. Is there supposed to be a pop-up? Or does it just install files elsewhere.

A bit similar to the other open feature request #18 , but in a more generic way.
I would like to kindly ask if it would be possible to output the text content of fanbox posts into a text file.

For example when I'd use this function with the dir-by-post switch, it would be create a content.txt in each folder.

A number of creators I follow use external links in the post, or attach translations/transcripts for the images.
So I think this feature would be really helpful.

I think it would be great if there was an option to just download all (new) posts from all my subscribed creators instead of running the script for every single one.

I would open a PR but I have no clue about Go.

Is there a chance we could get such a feature or would you much prefer a PR? Is there documentation for building?

Set environment HTTP_PROXY seems not works.

This may be out of scope, but there are a number of Fanbox artists I support who provide higher resolution versions of images/videos on an external hoster such as Dropbox or Mega, etc rather than using Fanbox's file hosting directly. Of course, fanbox-dl doesn't attempt to download these and I don't think it should attempt to due to the myriad hosting websites having different ways to download. However, I do think it would be helpful if a log file of some sort could be generated with a list of download links (grouped by artist probably) which I could then visit individually or provide to an external download manager (perhaps automatically if the log file is machine readable).

The links are within the <article> of the Fanbox post, so it should just be a case of scanning the text for any links, discarding ones for Twitter, Discord, Fanbox itself, etc, then saving them to a txt file.

As I say, this may not be functionality you wish to add, but I would really appreciate it if you did. Thank you.

Summary

It would be nice to have the ability to separate content based on plans.

So 500 yen plan goes into its own folder, while 1500 yen plan goes into another.

I selected the "old" plan which unlocks all the articles (new and old, before and after March 2018) and the program completely skips everything before March 2018.

I'm sorry to bother you guys but I'm incredibly new to these coding stuff. What exactly am I supposed to do? What I did was I opened the command line interpreter (Command Prompt), and then opened the downloaded file which in my case was 'fanbox-dl_0.17.0_Windows_x86_64' but nothing happens except it saying "Fanbox SessionID is not set. Starting as a guest." and then immediately closed itself. I'm sorry for being dumb and I'd be incredibly grateful if you guys lend a hand. Thanks for your time!

Been using fanbox-dl for a while now to automatically download any new creator I follow, but I recently noticed that some creators attach a file, or multiple files, to their post, and it would be really neat if fanbox-dl could grab these as well!

I tried versions 0.12, 0.12.1, 12.2 on Windows and all of them seem to be ignoring attachments without any error

EDIT: I just tried a different creator and it's working. Maybe the issue is videos? The creator not working is oda1ga.

I can visit fanbox, but cannot download.

Many posts now use the image / file upload / embed system provided by fanbox. It would be cool if files could be downloaded as well.

Sample post that would download nothing for me right now, because both the files and images are added as files.

Ideally I would have both the image as well as the psd file later.

Download fails on one particular image when I've had no problems with other posts or other images in the post. I can't see anything different about the image, it's a JPEG of similar size to the other already downloaded images. I'm running the 1.17.0 version on windows. Here's the log:
