KInstall: The Universal Package Installer 🛠️

KInstall is a script that simplifies the installation of packages on various Linux distributions and macOS. It supports different package managers based on the user's operating system.

Usage 🚀

  1. Clone the repository:

    git clone https://github.com/harajit05/kinstall.git

  2. Navigate to the repository:

    cd kinstall

  3. Run the script:

    ./kinstall.sh

Installation Systemwide via make install 🌐

To install KInstall systemwide, use the following commands:

make
sudo make install

Supported Package Managers 📦

  • Debian/Ubuntu: apt-get
  • RHEL/Fedora: yum
  • Fedora: dnf
  • Arch Linux: pacman
  • openSUSE: zypper
  • Gentoo: emerge
  • macOS: brew
  • NixOS: nix-env
