On Ubuntu 14.04LTS I get this when running "make"

not sure what the problem is

In 5.1 it says
"Xilinx supplies the Windows software in a UNIX tar.gz file". Obviously it is a mistake and "Windows" should be changed to "Unix" or "Linux".

missing "make " in the warning box book page 17 pdf page 26 section 6.3 added word in **

"In the book I’m using the convention that LED0 is the rightmost LED, and LED7 is the leftmost LED. This does not agree

The constraints for the Papilio One on page 59/122 refer to a NET called "segments" but the corresponding output is referred to elsewhere as "sevenseg".

Shouldn't this chapter mention that when you leave the program running for a while, it will fry the segments? Because that's what just happened to me, 1 segment got fried, the other seven will probably follow in the near future.

Where is the css file?

I tried following the course, but after installation of the Xilinx ISE it was not clear at all which shortcut I should start in the start menu. Only after some struggling (as well as downloading and installing an older version of the ISE) I found that I have to start "ISE Design Tools\64-Bit Project Navigator" to get to the software used in the guide. There seems to be a step missing in the instructions, that explains just this.
