subzero's Issues

'Home' WiFi default else 'Hotspot'

Working with another rPi project, it's possible that the device can connect to the HOME wifi network, allowing access from any device on WiFi.

If HOME Wifi isn't detected, it would fail over to the 'Hotspot' mode.

Trouble Routing

Im having trouble routing the subzero i followed all the steps

No way to upload folders

There is no way to upload an entire folder or make a folder/directory structure within SUBZero.

This could be solved by creating different frontend requests that create folders or expect bulk uploads

Delete Files with Spaces in their name

Right now we are just running a rm -rf command to delete files, but if someone uploads a file with a space in its name the delete rm -rf doesn't catch it.

This should be able to be fixed by adding quotation marks to the rm function, however I currently do not have the time to test/implement this functionality.

Etcher won't flash the image

I have even updated etcher to the latest version 1.4.9
When I selecting the image for flashing, I get a message about "invalid image"

Support direct-attached storage volume

Great project! From the looks of it, the USB connection is only providing power to the Pi. I’ve been looking hard for a way to expose a storage volume directly to a host over USB, such that the host would see the connected device as a standard volume, and could read/write files to it.

In your hackster post you mentioned that the data pins are connected for this. Does SUBzero support this yet? As far as I can tell, there is no other solution available to do this right now.

If you can point me to the libraries needed to expose storage to the host overt USB (probably as a block-level device?) such that it appears as a standard direct-attached volume, I’d love to help make this a reality.

Or, any other background, notes, or other projects which already do this would be very helpful.

cant log in

im trying to log in but I cant. what's the raspberrypi login and the password?

Network not broadcast

I've built SUBZero from source as well as the img file and either way the wireless network is not broadcast. I've tried configuring the wireless network on the client devices manually in case it was hidden but they still could not find it.
