Generic libraries to be used by final Arduino projects

Generic-Libraries

General purpose libraries for final Arduino projects which can include them easily as needed through the platformio.ini config file.

External libraries

These are the external libraries that are included in Generic-Libraries as submodules which links to the original source repositories, and following these instructions to separate Generic-Libraries superproject local changes from the original source repository:

• FreeRTOS
• Queue
• LinkedList
• LowPower
• TrueRandom
• MD_MAX72XX v2.11.0. NOT in submodule.

NOTE: all credits goes to, of course, the respective owners of these repositories.

Own libraries

Library	Description	Hardware associated
Common_Lib	Quick static classes for frequently used functionalities like Sleep() / PowerDown() or ReadKeyboard() for debugging	-
Melodies_Lib	Controls active/passive buzzers to reproduce melodies
Bluetooth_Lib	Controls bluetooth modules HC-05 and HC-06 via SoftwareSerial library
Joystick_Lib	Controls analog joysticks with 2 axes and a switch button
Motors_Lib	Controls 4 motors splitted into 2 axes through the driver L298N
SDFilesManager_Lib	Controls SD card with FAT16 limitations (8.3 filename format). Path is Unix based ('/' is root and normal slash means folder instead of backslash)

arduino-generic-libraries's Issues

Add CJoystick double-click detection

Add a new method/property to get if user has double-clicked the joystick button

Different speeds for motor axes

Move simultaneously both axes but at different speed instead of only moving one axis when changing car's direction.
Replaces this issue

Add SDFileManager to wrap file read/write on a SD card

Import SD Library into PlatformIO IDE.
Implement new SDFileManager_Lib that will manage all file reads/writes to a SD card using the mentioned SD.h and SPI.h.

Add CoordinateXY and Queue Library

Fork external-libs

Use git-submodules or similar to fork the external-libs from their original repositories so they can keep synchronized with the original sources.
Make them also allowable to be branched so it's possible to keep own changes over the original sources.

Change SpeedMode when in movement

Change SpeedMode if corresponding button is pressed and car is in movement with speed, if possible due to lack of concurrency/parallel processing capabilities in ATmega328P
Replaces this issue

Add FreeRTOS library as external-lib

Check and try to import FreeRTOS Library in order mainly to be able to use its Multi-tasking functionalities for implementation in the projects, like the Melodies_Lib project to make it run in a separated thread. Import it as module in 'external-libs' like LowPower library

Write wiki with libraries functionalities

Write/complete in README.md and/or in repository's Wiki with functionalities information for own libraries. Optionally add information for the imported external libraries
