Tried to generate a password for my NOKIA ONT Q-010G-Q, which has a serial beginning: ALCL then 4 (hex) bytes, as opposed to GPON:

i got a Glasfaser Modem 2 and whant to use it as my ONT. I managed to get on the ONT with telnet (not permanent only via browser console) shown on the wiki.

But every thing else is a show stopper to me. I dont understand the wiki :)

What i want to do is swap my "HG8010Hv6" with the "Glasfaser Modem2".

I got my PW and SN from my HG8010Hv6. But how do i put them on the "NEW ONT".

i know i should work with telnet because there is no GUI. -> Only for Germany LWL Telekom Users.

Does anyone know how to set pmg3000 in no vlan or bridge mode ?

Currently the sfp works ( onu ploamsg state is 5) but the upload speed is around 3Mbps.
In opt/lantiq/bin/config/ I have the following files: local_bridge.txt onu_setup_no_vlan.txt onu_setup_vlan.txt but I didn't find a way to switch between them.

Upon getting the connection the stick configures three vlans 2, 8, 201 and the download speed matches the contracted one, but the upload speed is way lower.

I have tried to modify fwdopt (mib 84) to other values ( it's set at 0x10 for all vlans ) but no success.
No matter what I do the upload speed is capped at 3-5Mbps.

I have tried this with V1.0 and V2.5. Same results.

Hi, as described here, this ONT SFP works with the 57810S NICs.

The page for this module states otherwise. The infos for incompatibility were added in d016d17 and 97a603f (#103). What was the source for that info? Does this maybe only count for certain firmware versions of the Zyxel? Only talking about LAN speed, not speed to the OLT of course.

Hi there, is there something known about the algorithm to generate CIG passwords (e.g. used by https://hack-gpon.org/ont-cig-g-97cp/#enable-password)?

I generated a bunch of passwords and did some quick basic cryptanalysis on them:

• Passwords consists of upper and lower case letters, as well as digits.
• However, o, O, I, B, 0, 1, and 8 are not used.

My SFP firmware version is V3.3.4L4rc1 (Fix 2.5GbE HiSGMII) and my Mikrotik version 7.11 and someone taled me that I have to have media convertor 2.5G instead 1G to change sfp mode to fiber

I have purchased D-LINK DPN-100 Rev C1 and I am trying to use it on a Turris Omnia with OpenWrt 23.05.2 but I cannot connect via telnet.

I have configured the eth2 interface in the range 192.168.100.0/24:

Why was ont-huawei-ma5671a-china.md page removed? It wasn't much, but it was the only documentation about that firmware on the wiki.

Since this firmware is also available for other lantiqs (nokia and alcatel g-010s-a/p) we were in the issue of adding the right.com firmware page for the Nokia/Alcatel lantiqs as well and we didn't want to document them out of respect for the Chinese programmers who later complain to us insulting them about their code

And since it is always based on the photonicse source firmware that the fs.com modded v5.1 firmware in addition we did not know how it handled the EEPROM in the Nokia/Alcatel firmwares and if it is mismanaged it can lead to the sfp lasting much less we preferred to remove everything

With some huawei MA5671A vodafone IT step 2 fails as there is no rootfs_data with committed image1.

ymodem should be implemented to flash images, like: https://github.com/ganioc/ymodem-sender-js.

Some steps are still to be investigated, but the idea is:

1. Add ymodem (you have to find out how to import it and whether webpack is required)
2. If step 2 fails an additional step is created that flashes the flash, since the transfer is slow, about 15 minutes, it is necessary to warn the user and implement a progress bar.

So the steps for implementation are:

• include ymodem.
• include progress bar in JTD.
• test ymodem.
• implements the logic of flash.

for the implementation of the first two points will come soon (mid-jan-23).

Do you have data on Miljet MJ-SFPGE-BXD-20S SFP+ modules?

I have two Technicolor AFM0002TIM software V1_7_8_210412 and V1_7_8_210928 and some commands from the wiki are not working at all on both sticks.

/etc/scripts/flash set HW_HWVER MYHWVERSION
/etc/scripts/flash set GPON_ONU_MODEL DFP-34X-XXX
/etc/scripts/flash set OMCI_OLT_MODE 2
/etc/scripts/flash set OMCI_FAKE_OK 1

All the above commands are failing. Is the wiki wrong or something must be done before issuing them on the stick ?

I did not create a PR as I do not exactly know if other deployments of this device also have such passwording logic but the device that was deployed by a certain Turkish ISP that uses a blue and a yellow logo has a password that is not root or rootHW.

Instead the password is a 8 character, seemingly random string made up of lowercase/uppercase letters and numbers. It is on the back of the ONT. The password is on the regular location with the layout same as hg8010hvorr.jpg

It is used in combination with AX7501-B0 but I wonder if it can work in any device with SFP cage or is simply a transceiver and no GPON processing is done on the SFP device itslef.

I've got the stick correctly authenticating and I can see the expected VLAN in the table, but if I tag the VLAN on my router the same as I do with the ODI stick it doesn't seem to pass traffic down.

Is there an issue with the FS ONT and VLAN mapping or a setting that needs to be changed to make it work?

I've just received a Sercomm FG1000B.11 provided by 1&1.
As opposed to the Telekom-branded variant ("Glasfaser Modem 2"), my device runs a firmware (the stock one?) which has a password-protected web interface.

I tried to access the serial console in order to gain access to the device, however, it has the same issue as the Telekom firmware - keyboard input gets ignored.

Please let me know if there's anyone out there who

• knows how to make the serial console work
• has a firmware dump available or
• just knows the credentials

Lately I have noticed that it is becoming increasingly necessary to create a standard, common template for wiki pages, also with reference to the fact that various contributors have created different implementations for the various points.

In particular, there is a need to devise

• a common structure for ONTs
• a homogeneous specification of the summary mirror
• a homogeneous specification for the serial (baud rate information, encoding, ... uboot side information outside the uart protocol, if needed, ...)

Finally, a very important point is the management of subpages, such as for the huawei ma5671a and how to avoid unnecessary duplication.

All of this must be accompanied by a lineguide on contributions, but this will be done as soon as the standard template is completed

is there any command to reset the GPON laser? it is because every time the GPON stick reboot and the upload speed is very slow (is like below 100mbps). However when I try to remove and connect back the SC cable, the upload speed back to full speed. Any idea what cause the issue?

Remove aliases that are 'replaced' by the ODM field. The ideal policy is as follows:

1. redirect to the final stock product page if it exists (like as SF -> FS.com or Hisense -> AFM), as stock means no major firmware changes, design other
2. else create ODM (like CIG 2.5, T&W)

The actual web app for edit the eeprom on huawei MA5671A rooted dosen't support the edit of LOID and other setting (see https://hack-gpon.github.io/ont-huawei-ma5671a/ for all settings)
