Thanks for the suggestion. I wonder how useful an example build script based on the structure of h5bp would be. It might be interesting to replicate the functionality here using Gulp and Grunt.

This project isn't the place to tackle that idea, however.

There is no universal stack. Many people (many more people than use cutting edge stacks, actually) still use Java and related ecosystem and this collection of build tasks remains useful to them. I've passed it along to the tech lead on my current, Java-based, project, for example.
