Clicking on letter in link disables selected column for sorting

Hi,

if I click on a letter in the links sorting does not work anymore for the column the letter is selected for. If you wouldn't mind taking a look, I'd really appreciate it.

As you probably know, the default datatables presentation allows you to sort on any column by clicking on the header one or more times.

How can this module be used with a focus on a dynamically sorted column? Meaning, start with a given column (“2”) but on a user sort move to that column?

Sorting first column does not work if HTML exists in cell

Hi,
I've spent a couple hours trying to diagnose the problem with sorting the first column on https://biblio.csusm.edu/course-reserves. It'll only work if the column has no HTML in the cell. If you wouldn't mind taking a look, I'd really appreciate it.
