fast-path-lede-openwrt's Issues

Possibility of a fast path optimized build for the Archer C7 v4?

Hi. I love your builds, they've made wonders on both my 1043nd v1 and 1043nd v2. Would it be possible for you to make an optimized build for the C7 v4 when you update the rest?

C7 v2 uses QCA9558 + QCA9880 + QCA8327
C7 v4 uses QCA9563 + QCA9880 + QCA8337

LEDE already supports this variant and the snapshots work fine as far as I can tell. Hardware on both revisions seems similar enough, so maybe selecting it in menuconfig results in a successful build? I'd be more than willing to test.

Thanks again for your hard work, it's amazing.

ipset cannot be installed

At the beginning, I use the luci-app-shadowsocks_1.9.0-1 to configure shadowsocks, it need the dependency of ipset, but the ipset cannot be installed because of the kernel dependencies, so I use --nodeps to install it, but shadowsocks do not work.

After that I change the luci-app-shadowsocks-without-ipset_1.9.0-1 to configure it. It does not need the dependency of ipset, and finally shadowsocks works at all.

So can you give a ipset package can be installed on this firmware? By the way I'm using the latest image you provide, Thx!!

Is it enabled by default

Not really an issue, just not sure if the optimization is enabled by default or if we need to change the firewall settings.
Thank you

July build for TP-Link WR1043NDv3?

Hi, noticed you updated several builds to july's snapshots but you didn't include one for the TP-Link WR1043NDv3 as for previous build

Tnx for your job!

Mikrotik Routerboard RB450G

Hello,

Is it possible to release an image for this very popular, RB450G model? I am currently using your build on a WDR3600 which works very nicely, but I just received the above mentioned board, since I'm planning to upgrade to 500Mbps fiber soon. Thank you!

July 2018 build for Archer C7 v4?

Hi, noticed you updated several builds to july's snapshots but you didn't include one for the Archer C7 V4, i tried the previous one for this router (feb 2018) and it didn't work so i was eagerly waiting for an updated one.

Build for TL-WR1043N v5 ?

Is there any chance you can add a build for TL-WR1043N v5 ? It seems to be documented here as a revision of TL-WR1043ND https://openwrt.org/toh/tp-link/tl-wr1043nd

The only difference i can see is that from hw rev 5.x they changed the suffix from ND to just N, bumped up the clock speed a little and removed the USB port. Yet, there is a separate build of OpenWrt for the v5. Can i just use the v4.x build on a V5 without messing something up and needing to recover the hard way?

Crash and fall in boot loop with Aug 2018 build

Wdr4300 with Aug 2018 build.
When installing “ipset” with opkg, machine crashes immediately and fall in boot loop.
Can only reset the router in recovery mode.

Obviously i can not provide the logs because of the crash, still hope this can be solved.

Hi! Can you build for TP-Link WDR7500 v3 (Archer C7R WDR7500) ?

Wrong file format

I'm trying to update my router TP-Link TL-WR1043N/ND v3 with the August version, but as happened last month with issue #13 when I upload I get the message: "The uploaded image file does not contain a supported format. Make sure that you choose the generic image format for your platform. "
I tried to shorten the file name like last time, but I always have the same error.
Thank you

TL-WR1043ND v1 Bootloop

When i try to install xl2tpd, device freezes and goes to bootloop. This happening because low amount of memory. Beware. Same thing on original Openwrt not happening.

New build (based on ver 18)

Dear gwlim,

I don't want to seem to nosy (we still owe you for what you are doing, including for my special request for the RB450G), but when can we expect a new build of yours? I think the community would be more interrested on a build based on the new version of OpenWRT (18.x.x eg. non-LEDE any more).

Thank you indeed!

Optimizations for TP-Link wdr4300 V1 break tcpdump

Hello gwlim,
What optimisations do you check at build as for any of your versions since 2017 the tcpdump crashes on wdr4300 like this (after not more than 1-2 sec):

listening on pppoe-wan, link-type LINUX_SLL (Linux cooked), capture size 262144 bytes

Please refresh mips24k-ar71xx-lede-patch repo to the latest

Dear gwlim,

Thank you for your hard work about the Fast Path patchset!

I saw the Dec-2017 images in this repo. I would like to compile a custom firmware for my device, so please refresh the patches in the mips24k-ar71xx-lede-patch repo to the latest.

Thank you so much!

USB Kmod packages for this release

Hi,

Could you either include support for, or provide me compiled packages, for the kernel versions associated with the builds for WDR4300 and Archer C7v2 for usb-storage and its related requisites for extroot?
As well, (if it's possible), the f2fs support? Not sure if the mips24k or mips74kc architectures support it (there's a few differing opinions on this, from what I've seen, and I just get a "bus error" with a different/older firmware that had USB-storage support, but did not have the same issues formatting the usb-key as ext4

The kernel version in these builds is newer than that in the repo, so even if I force --nodeps, and either link/copy the downloaded mods to the current-kernel, they won't insmod b/c of unresolved/unknown symbols, and if I browse LEDE's dev/nightly package list, it has a newer kernel version than the Sept. builds, so same issue

I'd really like to setup/install extroot on my devices, to give a bit more room than the stock flash size

EA8500

Please add Linksys EA8500 as it has similar hardware to TPLink Archer c7v2. Thanks
