As little children will never be called and clutter the list of contacts, either:

• do not export them to the device's address book
• add them to a separate category (to be filtered out at will)
• do not store the 'home phone' for them, so caller ID won't show them

only a certain set of persons are prepopulated with photo files. For newly added people, photo files should be downloaded.

addresses with house number additions ('rood', 'zwart') make Google Maps not find the address.

Ignore network errors when updating.
Replace with a log viewer or something like that.
Create a 'last updated on' entry in the About-view.

Some contacts get a few extra entries with the same address, some contacts get dozens of extra email addresses.
