gitg's Issues

Allow to force merge when checking out a branch

When checking out a branch while working tree is dirty, gitg propose to stash the content. It's a great idea. But it would be useful to propose an alternative: force a merge (like git checkout -m).

remove initial stash list

the initial stash list is only partially useful. These pseudo-commits are incomplete as a single stash create two commits: one for staged content and the other for unstaged content.

Seems better to remove these pseudo-commits, and display stashed in the branch selector.
