Could you please add support for gulp sourcemaps (https://www.npmjs.com/package/gulp-sourcemaps)

Apologize for this non-bug issue, but I had a question.

gulp-wrap-umd is the only UMD wrapper I could find that supports namespaced global alias and and allows extended aliased externalization of dependencies.

I would like to use the functionality in a project where I don't use gulp, and was wondering if the functionality of this plugin was available as a standalone module, with or without command line api, which I will could with in my workflow.

If no such version is planned, would you happen to know any standalone module that already does this?

In 0.2.0, the params option was deprecated in favor of the extended deps config. Remove this option in a future version.

So I do realize that this is webpack's fault, but at the same time it's a very common option these days and I feel like it would be a nice benefit if the wrapper worked seamlessly when integrated into a webpack pipeline.

When you try to load a plugin with a umd wrapper into webpack it generates the warning: require function is used in a way in which dependencies cannot be statically extracted. There is a plugin that briefly explains why and fixes this.

This plugin needs to be updated to not buffer a stream, switch from event-stream and remove node 0.8 compat.
