grocy-website's Issues

Allow localizing the website

As far as I can understand the website is only available in English and German, since there is already a translators community why not translating the website as well?

Adding social channels & forums to the site

I think Grocy is a great idea and want to see how other people are using it and benefiting from it. Perhaps it could help new users get support without overwhelming Github issues too.

I suggest we set up a subreddit / Twitter and perhaps some other areas (e.g. Telegram or some chat area) for people to connect through.

Happy to set them up - the subreddit is still available - just don't want to be the owner while @berrnd may wish to manage this.

RSS feed for Changelog

A feed for the changelog would be great (one item per release, maybe update the UNRELEASED "release" on every change)

Feature Request: Include my Arch Linux installation script at "https://grocy.info/links"

Since I couldn't find any guide on how to install grocy on Arch Linux I figured I would create one myself and add it as a fully automated script to my GitHub repository.

The script will install all necessary dependencies, download and unzip the latest release of grocy, enable all required php extensions, create a self-signed ssl certificate (valid for 100 years) and deploy a working nginx config (created using nginxconfig.io with most nonessential configs removed).

After the script has finished grocy will be up and running so you don't have to fiddle around with any config files at all! Except for /var/lib/grocy/data/config.php in case you want to make some changes to the default settings of grocy.

I also created an updater script that will run the original update.sh script and then accesses the root web dir of grocy using curl so that the database gets migrated and the user faces no issues whatsoever.

The repository also contains various other scripts for installing self-hostable applications on Arch Linux. And while the scripts are intended to be used on Proxmox in Arch Linux LXCs they should work just fine on any installation of Arch Linux.

Feel free to check it out.
