This is a project that I have been working on and off for a few years. It was borne out of frustration of using the forums on www.drownedinsound.com on a mobile browser.

The aim of the app is to replicate the functionality of the forum (viewing posts, adding comments etc) with a pleasant material design native expreience.

It additon to that I aim to produce a codebase that is well architectured and contains tests.

Make project use maven

We should use maven for the decadency management.

Post list and post view layouts for tablets

For tablets we can detect the landscape mode and display the list and board post. Otherwise we just display the list and details separately.

Save mock data to local db

We should mock the response from the server but it should be saved to a local db and then the fragment can be notified that it can load the data from the db.

Option to go to the latest comment

If the user has viewed a post before it would be good to have the option to go directly to the last comment. This should be a snackbar UI widget appearing from the bottom and dissapearing after a few seconds or if the user starts to scroll down

"This" a comment functionality

Logged in users should be able to "This" (equivalent to like) a comment

Add comment functionality

Logged in users should be able to add a comment to a post.

Non logged in users should be prompted to login.

View board post functionality

Continue the refactoring to restore the functionality for viewing a board post. This should include unit tests.

Change Board post to be made up of list view

We should use a list view as it will allow us to do fast scroll

Add a board post functionality

Logged in users should be able to create a new post for any of the board lists

Tapping the tab bar should scroll to the top of the list

Endless loading of pages

The moment only the first page is shown. We should fetch the next page of posts once we get to the bottom of the list, making sure we don't show the same twice

Add in sliding menu

With options to login,logout and messages - no implementation

Scroll to new post should show the full comment

It occasionally scrolls to the top of the comment and you cannot actually read it
