Development

First you must build the JS files:

nvm i   # will use .nvmrc version
nvm use # will use .nvmrc version
yarn
npx webpack

Then you can load it as an unbundled extension in Chromium.

Automatic Backup to Disk Directory

Hey, I've been wanting to build a OneTab clone to get my feet wet with Browser Extension building for quite a while now, but of course I never got around to it. And now I stumbled upon yours - love it!

Now, I'm not sure whether Chrome extensions can even have permissions do write to the user's file directories, but since OneTab lost everybody's tabs during some Chrome Update like a year ago, I've been weary of trusting it again, or when using it, manually doing copy-paste backups constantly.

It would be great if there was an option to automatically store a backup list/file of your tabs somewhere on your disk. That way people could also choose to sync their devices via open source tools like nextcloud and syncthing as a bonus.

Can you add sync tabs on google drive

I love this exention, but is there any way to add sync across multiple devices for the compressed tabs?

UBY: Dark mode

For accessibility reasons, a dark mode would be more usable.

Standard WebExtensions support

Would be good to work towards making this extension also available on Firefox (and any other WebExtensions-compatible browser).

Since now Chrome and Firefox both support WebExtensions, this shouldn't be too problematic. Other than the global objects containing the APIs are named differently IIRC.
