Hello World

As a kid I learned how to read in a BASIC manual because I wanted to code my own video game. That pretty much says it all about me.

I'm making a game of Go that is played on a planet. (my arlésienne)

Meanwhile, you can play Cyx, it's easy and fun.

Note: I produce code across many software forges, and some of them are private. The metrics above look only at Github, which I'm slowly leaving altogether.

git-spend's Issues

Dependency with GLIBC

Other computer, older install using libc-2.31.so.

$ git spend sum

/usr/local/bin/git-spend: /lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libc.so.6: version `GLIBC_2.32' not found (required by /usr/local/bin/git-spend)
/usr/local/bin/git-spend: /lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libc.so.6: version `GLIBC_2.34' not found (required by /usr/local/bin/git-spend)

Not sure if I can make this software work with older libc as well, of if I should just wait.

Deprecate and remove the `--target` flag, perhaps

No other git utility has such a flag, and unless someone makes a compelling case as to why it should stay, let's remove it in the next major release.

Package for debian repositories

I'm getting tired of installing this without apt on my various machines.

It looks stable enough. At least, I've been using it every day for the past months, and I love it.

So I suppose it's time to submit it to the world. 🌏

feat: filter by authors

gitime sum --author=Goutte

and perhaps multiple, joined by OR :

gitime sum --author=Alice --author=Bob

and perhaps accept email as well as the author name.

Rename to `git-spend`

Why?

Git tries to run git-something when you run git something.
Therefore, it would integrate with git nicely, like so:

git spend sum

Mention and document synergy with `git-hours`

git hours can be used to measure spent time retroactively.
It does not use /spend directives but looks at the time between commits.
