Describe the bug
Ghost creates a halo of darkness.

Getting cloned clears your Job + Job Benefits

Describe the bug
Getting cloned nulls your job, or something. I don't know exactly what it is in code terms, but this has a cascade of effects. For instance, this means that cloned security officers can be hit with Sleeper Agent event. You also lose your job traits, like faster cuffing or chair flip immunity.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Join as security officer
  2. Die, then get cloned
  3. Get chair-flipped
  4. See error

Expected behavior
Job should be transferred with the mind, independent of changing mobs or being cloned.

Books taken off of a bookshelf lack a sprite

Describe the bug
Books taken off of a bookshelf lack an item sprite.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Click a bookshelf, select a book
  2. Realize the book is in your hand, but it lacks a visible sprite
  3. Put the book back on the shelf, die inside.

Expected behavior
Books have the sprite that they'd normally have outside of when taken off of a bookshelf.

Cloaks Can Do Things

Describe the bug
I stole the janitor's cloaking device and found a couple things that it probably shouldn't be able to let you do.

You can clickdrag-pickup items from adjacent tiles without disrupting your cloak.

You can do that special attack thing with bare hands without disrupting your cloak.

  3. Remain invisible

PDA Group Messages Not Working

Describe the bug
When you try to send a pda message to either a DEPT group or a player-made Group chat, no input box appears for you to put in inputs. DMs still work, though.

  1. Join as Staff Assistant
  2. Open your PDA Messenger App
  3. Try to send a message to DEPT-Security, or the "staff" group
  4. See error

Thrown Fiberwire Twangs When Clicked

Describe the bug
So I just got done choking a braindead HoP with the fiber wire, and went to toss him out into the hallway. The fiberwire got thrown instead, which is to be expected, but when I went to pick it back up, it just sat there on the ground and toggled through its deployedness states. I could still pick it up by clickdragging it to myself, but it was kinda silly that clicking on it just made it go twang.

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Strangle person with fiberwire.
  2. Throw fiberwire while still strangling person.
  3. Click on fiberwire.
  4. Twang.

Expected behavior
The fiberwire just gets picked up.

clicking job rewards menu button with a pda causes a runtime error

Describe the bug
If you have the job rewards menu open, and click on the claim rewards button while holding a PDA, it causes a runtime error when the PDA tries to scan the button. (in my case specifically, a forensics scan, possibly happens with others)

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Be a job with job rewards and be able to claim one of the rewards
  2. Put your scanner (forensics only??) into your hand.
  3. Claim the reward while keeping the scanner in your hand.
  4. Check the console or view runtimes verb, there should have been a runtime error.

Expected behavior
there should be checks on the scanners to avoid runtimes on UI buttons like that.

White box on server reset following a round

Describe the bug
For the past few days at least, there's a white box overlaying the center of the screen if I stick around following one round while the next round starts. It can't be interacted with in any way and remains into the following round unless I close the client and re-open it between rounds. This gets annoying really fast and sometimes leads to missing roundstart when byond acts up.

  1. be online at the end of a round
  2. stick around for the next round

Nukie Ghost Drones count as Alive Nukies for game end reasons

Golden "grab" icon with "Midas Touch"

You can just golden the "grab" icon that appears in your hand when you grab someone.

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Get the "Midas Touch" Gene Power
  2. Grab someone
  3. Use "Midas Touch" and select "grab" in the list
  4. See "Gold Grab"

I think this is useless and not necessary to be a part of the game, because it just effects this icon

It even doesnt look cool

NARCS and NAS-T turrets don't see IDs inside PDAs, causing it to friendly fire unintentionally

Describe the bug
The NAS-T and NARCS turrets do ID checks to verify friend or foe. Unfortunately, the check doesn't go deep enough, and just sees PDAs as "not the correct ID", and they'll fire at nukies wearing the military PDA, or sec officers with their ID in their PDA.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Spawn turret
  2. Put ID in PDA and wear it
  3. Walk in front of turret
  4. See error

Expected behavior
Turret needs to check for worn PDAs in the ID slot, and then check inside that PDA for the appropriate ID.

Sabers cause fear in the hearts of Mice and Men

Describe the bug
Sabers lack tooltip text

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Mouse over a captain's saber
  2. Be very afraid by the lack of text
  3. Examine to see what text should be there
  4. Scream in fear

Expected behavior
Mouse over tooltips sharing the same or similar examine text as proper examination

My guess is it calls the text in one spot but not another, but, I can't be bothered to find where the saber is in the code, nor do I want to fix it myself, rather leave it to someone else for a first time fix.

Plasma cutter sounds

Describe the bug
Big pods have inconsistencies in playing the plasma cutter sound effect

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Put a plasma cutter in a 2x2 pod
  2. Use the weapon in the 4 directions
  3. The sound only plays when in the south or west directions
  4. See error

The sound plays always because that's how sounds work

Animal Capsules (traitor item)

Not sure if this is a bug or just something overlooked, but animal capsules don't react to either putting them into a puddle of water on the ground or trying to put them in a container with water. To use an animal capsules you must drop water on their tiny tiny sprite.

Former canbombs still glow

Dud canbombs revert to normal canisters but still keep the simplelight

Using Wide Area Spawn to make Turfs makes dense objects not dense anymore

Describe the bug
Use Wide Area Spawn tool to spawn some floor somewhere, underneath dense objects like tables and computers and doors. You'll be able to walk right over them

  1. Spawn some floors under a table with Wide Area Spawn
  2. Walk over the table

Mediborg eye surgery not progressing

No matter the "hand" slot or intent on borg, when targeting the head the enucleation spoon doesn't appear to do the step towards eye removal (spoon scalpel spoon).

Blob tutorial

I was playing on oshan as a test subject, and used the experimental long rage teleporter to go to gemorium v. I ended up in a plain box with v-space all around it, and an admin i asked told me i was in the blob tutorial area.

Re-attaching synthlimbs doesn't halt missing limb bleeding.

Describe the bug
When you lose a limb, you begin uncontrollably bleeding despite how much you try to suture/bandage/styptic it (not sure if this is intended behavior, presumably the reason for it is that you're missing a limb and are leaking blood from it, will assume it as intended for purposes of this bug report).
If you try to re-attach a synthlimb, with the special way those work you don't require the stapling process and just put them on. However, you'll continue bleeding afterwards, as if you were still missing a limb (even though you have one).

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Spawn in with the green arms (synthlimb arms) trait.
  2. Remove one of the synth arms through surgery or admin panel. At this point you begin to bleed uncontrollably no matter how much you try to halt it.
  3. Use synthlimb on yourself while targeting the missing limb, this attaches the synthlimb.
  4. With the limb re-attached, you'll continue uncontrollably bleeding.

Expected behavior
Not bleeding anymore after completing step 3).

Additional context
I strongly suspect this is due to how synthlimb re-attaching works in that it doesn't require stapling. There might be some logic missing in that functionality that is present in the stapling one to let the game know not to continue causing bleeding.
To further hint at this, stapling a robotic limb instead will cause the bleeding to stop.

Manta lighting fuckery

Loosing a singulo on Manta produces unexpected effects

One of radio host's shirt and pants variations has an invisible icon.

Describe the bug
The radio host's /obj/item/clothing/under/shirt_pants shirt and pants jumpsuit has a few different icon variations. One of them is invisible, most likely due to a wrongly labeled icon_state name. The offending icon_state is "shirt_n_pant-br".
The icon file for the item is located in icons/obj/clothing/uniforms/item_js_misc.dmi

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Spawn several /obj/item/clothing/under/shirt_pants objects.
  2. Some of them are bound to be invisible.

Expected behavior
Using a correct icon_state, being visible.

Additional context
This should just require looking into the item's code and dmi and fixing the discrepancy (names not matching).

AI PDA unable to interface with teleporting equipment

The AI's internal PDA is unable to see and subsequently interface with the following remote controlled equipment:

Port-A-Nanomed
Port-A-Medbay
Port-A-Brig
Port-A-Sci

The programs themselves work, but the individual pieces of equipment do not show up, even after you attempt to 'Scan for Linkable Machinery'

This is a repeating bug that occurs across all rounds, starting sometime yesterday afternoon.

Note: This is one of my first bug reports. If this is insufficiently written or formatted, please let me know and I will correct this issue.

Butcherable objects

Invisible Banana Peels

Description:
I'm not sure if this is an april fools' joke that's gone on for too long or if it's actually a bug.
Banana peels are currently invisible.
You can imagine how infuriating this must be.

To reproduce:
Eat a banana.
Watch the peel become invisible.
Slip on it.

Armory Hammer doesn't deal bonus damage to airlocks

Describe the bug
The hammer's bonus damage isn't applying when it should, meaning it deals the same damage to airlocks as it does to spacemen (ie: not much)

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. hit airlock with hammer
  2. repeat 40+ times

Expected behavior
Should break airlocks in 8-12 hits.

Additional context
Haven't used the hammer myself, information comes from discord.

Buckling in a stool doesn't work

Describe the bug
Standing on a stool and clicking yourself will deliver the You buckle yourself in message without buckling you.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Get on a stool
  2. Click yourself
  3. Notice you are not buckled

Expected behavior
Either the You buckle yourself in doesn't appear or you are buckled.

Tile so hot these days

The first tile in that botany ship for some reason likes to start off close to a million degrees

To Recreate!
Go to the botany ship in the debris field
Walk one tile into the right side from the middle
Notice that you're burning to a crisp

It's happened multiple rounds in a row now, I dunna what could possibly have caused it, but it's scary. The heat slowly goes away without affecting any other tiles.

NT-SO Commander Uniform reward attempts to use non-existent sprite

Describe the bug
Using the NT-SO Commander Uniform medal reward with the captain's fancy uniform variant on attempts to set the icon state to captain-fancy-blue, which does not exist.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Wear the captain's fancy jumpsuit (/obj/item/clothing/under/rank/captain/fancy)
  2. Use the NT-SO Commander Uniform medal reward
  3. See that your worn jumpsuit is now invisible

Expected behavior
The jumpsuit should either remain as it is or become the generic captain/blue jumpsuit.

Exact location is rewardsLocker.dm, line 475.

There's actually an item sprite for the fancy blue jumpsuit - just not a worn one. Ideally this could be fixed by creating that sprite, but I haven't the abilities for that, so I put this issue out there instead.

Spaced diner patron

Describe the bug
When i joined with the "space diner patron" spacebux reward i spawned outside of the diner, on the solar panel, just south of the actual dining area.

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Join game as "space diner patron"
  2. Run to nearest airlock to not die

Expected behavior
I would expect to spawn inside of the diner, tho arguably it could be a funny intended side effect.

Persistent bleeding without shrapnel

Issue:
When bleeding, you'll randomly get the message "Your bleeding stops!" multiple times, and not have the indicator of bleeding, but your examine text will read it as being there, as will health analyzers. You create blood splashes on the floor still, but no actual blood loss occurs.

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Cut off very syndicate hat arm you paid 90k spacebux for
  2. Put it on
  3. Use mender on self to heal bleeding
  4. "Phantom bleeding" occurs

Expected behavior
The styptic clears the bleeding and examine text doesn't show as bleeding.

Urs was auctioning off a mystery item arm for spacebux, and removed my arm, before replacing it with the very syndicate hat. I've also had this "phantom bleeding" happen to me before, but it seems a bit random with what actually causes it.

Robotics doesn't have a portable reclaimer on Donut 2

Robotics doesn't have a portable reclaimer on Donut 2.

  1. Play on Donut 2
  2. Go to Robotics
  3. Try and find a portable reclaimer

Expected behavior
I expected Robotics to have a portable reclaimer

Packages Don't Seem to Arrive on Manta

Describe the bug
When you order crates on manta, they don't appear to actually arrive.

Crates should fly in from the south and land on the conveyor belt

cargo cart centcom body seperation

i got separated form the cargo tug but my body was till in it, i also had a new body?
it happened when i drove thru the purple airlocks at the east end of the admin offices while driving the cargo tug.

i expected to remain driving the cargo tug.

Until we have a proper changelog bot, this might be a good idea.

No means to make soup on Donut 2

Describe the bug
Donut 2 is missing the required facilities for making soup

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Go in Donut 2's kitchen
  2. Notice lack of stove, soup pot, etc.

Expected behavior
There should be one on Donut 2 too.

Item Arm Icons Layer Under HUD, Remain when you become Ghost

Describe the bug
When you attach an item as an arm, the item icon doesn't appear above your HUD, so you can't interact with it to change settings/reload/etc. The icon is still there, just under the HUD. The icon persists after death, permanently attaching itself to your ghost HUD and being annoying.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Get your arm replaced with an item
  2. See error
  3. Die and ghost without removing the item arm
  4. See other error

Expected behavior
The item should appear above the HUD so it can be interacted with. The item should also not remain on the HUD after you die/change mobs.

Hellbound Zoldorf Candidate Not Deleted

Describe the bug
If you sell 100% of your soul to Zoldorf and then try to become the new Zoldorf, when you get sent to hell your old body says it vaporizes (intended) but instead just strips down and still stands there, braindead. (Not intended.)

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Sell 100% of your soul to a Zoldorf.
  2. Sign a Zoldorf contract.
  3. Give it to a Zoldorf which can pass on its status.
  4. Anybody else nearby will see the bug above occur.

Expected behavior
The old body should be stripped and deleted, not just stripped.

Stun Glove Sprite

A clear and concise description of what the bug is.
The stun glove sprite does not appear on your character sprite when you have cyborg arms
To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior: Wear stun gloves, have your arms replaced with cyborg limbs.

Expected behavior
A clear and concise description of what you expected to happen.
As stun gloves have a very obvious sprite, presumably so that other players can see the potential threat, I would expect to see the gloves regardless of what arms you have.

chem hints don't display properly

Describe the bug
Chem hints are blank apart from the chem name at the top.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Buy a chem hint
  2. Open it
  3. See that it's blank
  4. See error

Expected behavior
chem hint to load

Taser / gun balance feedback thread

Please respond to this issue with concerns regarding the balance of tasers, wavegun, lawgiver, etc. as a direct consequence to #55 for the purposes of a followup rebalance if necessary.

Can't swap egun cells

Describe the bug
Title. You hit the egun with the cell, no message. Doesn't swap, but also doesn't say "X hits the energy gun with the power cell!"

To Reproduce

  1. Have egun
  2. Click on egun with power cell
  3. No message
  4. Cell hasn't swapped

Expected behavior
The cell is able to be swapped into the egun.
