[BUG] docker.sock - too many open files

Describe the bug
Queue hangs and gostint pods issuing error:

issue is clearly a docker.sock connection leak.

To Reproduce
Run over 1024 (> ulimit -n) to reveal docker.sock connection leak

Expected behavior
not to leak connections and hang
