I think you're correct on everything you did here. We will have to try to discuss what to do to handle the situation though. We are currently have as a high priority supporting multiple genomes per instance, so hopefully we can get this resolved ASAP.

Need to make sure we're handling this case. I largely left the "Annotations-" prefix, but I like Stephen's solution better.

@nathandunn says that we can store the "new" name in the database, which will over-ride the display.

This has a workaround in 1.0 and 2.0 doesn't require any workarounds at all. Suggest closure
