Analysis of the 2015 Protocol
The 2015 Protocol wiki page will serve to document the protocol. This issue will track progress.
Accurate timers
Node.js timers have a resolution time of 16ms. Packets must be sent every 20ms. In testing, the current code results in packets being sent every ~30ms due to this delay.
The real problem is that these javascript timers have a resolution of 16 milliseconds or (much) worse. > Set a timeout for one second (1000ms) and it’ll finish in 1000-1016ms.
