Obscured Password about passy

I'm unsure what you mean by the original password. The copy tools only copy the password contents, there's only one password per entry.

Obscured simply means hidden, it's merely a visual change to data, which hides it with the dot symbols in the UI, it does not affect the data itself.

If you have stored your original password in the manager, but then overridden it by generating a random password then I am truly sorry, because your original password is lost. This is an intended functionality, you should be careful while editing your passwords and only use the viewing menu to copy them to avoid making changes.

I will run through what I did:

1. Add ID card
2. Add custom field
3. Choose Type - Password
4. Choose Obscured - True
5. Add password
6. Save

When I click on the password, it gives random figures, which makes sense since it's obscured, but when I copy it using the copy function, it copies over the random figures.

Is this how this function is meant to work?

Hmm, no, that is not the intended behavior.
Here's what should have happened.

Here I have tapped on the obscured password custom field and it displays what I put into it.

If you still have your password, you can use the edit button (top right) to input it again. I apologize if it's a bug on my behalf, but even if it is one I'm not sure if I can easily find it, since there is no issue on my end.
