uf_base

A blank Wordpress theme based on Underscores.me, JointsWP, and Foundation, meant for theme development.

Setup Guide

git clone https://github.com/gkmurray/uf_base.git
npm install
bower install
gulp

Troubleshooting

If you get an error creating simlinks during npm install, try npm install --no-bin-links

If you now get error about Stack Size Exceeded, you will need to open the packages.json and install each module manually

Usage

Clone into your Wordpress themes folder.

Compile and minify SASS from the src/sass directory with gulp sass

Concatenate and minify JS from the src/js folder with gulp script

uf_base's Issues

Comment template is duplicated on Single pages

Page navigation styling does not following style guide

Its awkward and overly verbose. Maybe try swapping titles for next/previous buttons and removing the Title.

Posts template attempts to fetch content-archive template part but the template part doesn't exist.

In home.php

It looks like it'll just need to be updated to use

get_template_part( 'parts/loop', 'archive' );

instead of

get_template_part( 'parts/content', 'archive' );
