Suggestion/Proposal

Hi Team,

I would like to propose the introduction of new badges on GitHub to encourage consistent engagement from users, especially beginners. These badges could celebrate milestones such as the longest 50-day streak, longest 100-day streak, longest 500-day streak, and longest 1000-day streak. I believe that implementing these badges could be particularly beneficial for individuals who are new to programming and are motivated to maintain their commitment to using GitHub regularly.

This idea came to mind when I noticed a significant number of people on LinkedIn participating in the 100-day code challenge. By incorporating such streak-related badges on GitHub, we could tap into this trend and provide additional incentives for users to remain active on the platform.

Super minor, but should probably read Coauthored in two or more merged pull requests.

I propose integration of IMS OpenBadges V3 to bring W3C Verifiable Credential Badges to Github

Hey Github!
Proposition: To integrate IMS OpenBadges V3.0 into GitHub profile badges!
What's the use case:
Organization managers could issue those to developers through any system or implementation and as long as they are compliant with OB3 then Github can add them to profile badges as a feature for developers!
Developers can add claimed badges (certificates, degrees, accreditations,...) to their Github profiles! Those are self-verifiable!

Nice to have extensions:
1- Being accessible as a sharing intent (clicking a button or link developer can add the badge to their Github profile if they are logged in on the same browser)
Rationale: by making profile badges open to achievement standard badges, it will enhance the developer experience as well as create much traction by making it easier for HRs, employers, and talent finders to check and review verifiable achievements and accomplishments of a developer aside from GitHub only achievements!
2- To have a Verifiable Credential presentation simple view that displays the standard document model and data of that badge without the need to leave Github!
