Emotional Intelligence (EQ) has given Deepa a weapon to reach new heights of success. Leaders need tools along with their high IQ, luck, and that’s what EQ Equation empowers them. Since she began her professional journey, she has never said NO to an opportunity that led me to take up a sales job while working as a scientist. She has lived/worked in four continents and understood the secret ingredient “your unique style”. Educational institutions engrave us with the belief to keep working hard all our life to be successful. No education gives us the soft skills and how to use one’s natural technique to be an empathetic impactful leader.

EqEquation was established to help people enjoy a fulfilled life using emotional intelligence techniques like self-awareness and empathy to achieve your goals in professional and personal life. My name is Deepa Sethi. I started my career as a scientist and then transitioned to be a successful strategic salesperson. I have lived in 4 continents and done business across the globe. Understanding the power of emotional intelligence has helped me excel in all positions and relationships, especially when the stakes are high. Navigating with empathy has helped me maintain or build new relationships with whoever I meet. It may be with cab drivers, someone on the flight, at home, or when developing a strategic partnership with large multinationals. Most leaders spend 60% of their time using their EI in their day to day activities. So why delaying building EI in our future leaders and only focusing on intelligence that is taught in our existing education system. We at EQ Equation help you find your authentic style to succeed. Regardless of what level of an organization you may be or individual that is looking to improve communication in personal life or help young adults to connect with themselves in a deeper manner. EQ Equation works individually in balancing emotions which leads to make this world a better place to live in. We look forward to connecting with you.

How to Contribute to this project?

All contributors are Welcome before contributing to this Project, make sure you have gone through the CONTRIBUTING.md ,and follow the Clean Practice to raise the issues.

The website is to be build from scratch so, we are required to follow below approaches👇

✔ At the initial stages of the project, the issues where raised by project leads only ,as the initial website is build participants can raise issue like bug fixes and Features Enhancements.

✔ Participants have to contribute to a Particular issues,or fixes.

✔ Participant who come first and ask for issue they will be assigned first like in every OSS projects.

✔ Participant working on a particular issue will have to give daliy updates to the Project Leads in slack channel.

✔ If Project Lead donot see any progress in the particular issue ,The issue will be assigned to another Participant.

NOTE : At the beginning of the project their is very less issues as we are building from scratch,so wait for some time everyone will get the fair chance.

Refactoring of the Website

• Check all the links in the header are working. Ex: Home button on the navbar and sidebar does not take to the hero section

• Fix Font Size in the footer Section and links inside them

• Add Mobile View Footer Open/Close animation to the dropdowns

• Fix Font Size in the Hero-Section of the header as well as the paragraphs

Add a Animation of Auto Closing of Nav Bar when user is not interacting with it.

Setup a functionality of the auto-closing of the navbar.

Add a Hero Section same as Referenced Website!!

Add the Hero section as in the referenced website make sure you remove the current slider hero section and add this one!!

[Feature] Material Navbar on landing page (Desktop View)

Feature Details
Currently the Nav Bar of the landing page is as follows (fig. 1)

The design of the Nav bar should be made as below (fig. 2)

Additional Details
When the page loads the New Style, the design shown in fig. 2 will be displayed.
After the user starts to scrolls it will fade out and convert to current nav bar shown in fig. 1
Again once the user scroll back to the top, the current nav bar will fade out and new style design in fig 2 will appear again.

[Feature] Material Navbar on landing page (Mobile View)

Feature Details
Currently the nav bar on mobile view when the site loads is as below (fig. 1)

New Design for the landing page is as shown below (fig. 2)

Additional Details
When the page loads the New Style, the design shown in fig. 2 will be displayed.
After the user starts to scrolls it will fade out and convert to current nav bar shown in fig. 1
Again once the user scroll back to the top, the current nav bar will fade out and new style design in fig 2 will appear again.

[Bug] Top Nav Bar is Auto Open/Close not working

Describe the bug?

Top Navbar is currently fixed to the top and does not show up when scrolling up.

Describe how you want to fix it?

I noticed some styles to be missing the style.css file that will make the navbar working again.

Additional Fix

Addition of the new logo to the site.

Add Social Media Links on the footer.

Add social media links with icons in the footer section

Add the button below the About content which redirects to the page.

The page should have a sticky navbar with a right nav button that will be implemented similar to the main page.

then all the things will be implemented as it is on this website https://www.owenell.com/ page except the bottom column buttons and footer.

the footer should be the same as the main page.

Implement only the header like in the reference website https://ready.so/

Implement only the header like in the reference website https://ready.so/ the header should have the same blur effect with Disappearing effect as we scroll down.

Points to focus on:

Implement the feature exactly the same as in the reference website.

Do not add any options or logo just add a header similar to the website

And last maintain good code quality with comments.

All good websites have themes (dark mode & light mode) . These days it is very common to the users. I suggest to add a button which would toggle between the themes. If approved, I would like to take up this issue.

Add a book now feature in website

Stage 1:

• Add a button of the book now in the navbar.

Stage 2:

• Add functionality using SquareUp API which will handle the booking the feature should be implemented as it is in the
  this website https://www.eqequation.com/

If you have better suggestions of integrating this feature you're most welcome.

As it is not mandatory to use squareup any other similar integration is welcomed. But let me know about integrations

[Bug] Mobile View Header Section

Describe the bug?

Currently, the mobile view of the header is not responsive, as can be seen in the picture.

Describe how you want it to be fixed?

We can make the header section responsive to the mobile view so that it does not overflow the screen

Update Testimonials part by including a type of carousel and make it slide automatically.

Fix the footer for landscape Mode!!

Create Drop-down menu style footer for Mobile View

The current footer styling for the mobile view is like this:

The task is as follows:

• 1. Make the Left column of the footer as the drop-down menu shown in the reference picture below.

• 2. Place the right column of the current footer below the social media links.

Add a Testimonial Page in the Website

The Website needs a testimonial page like in this website Testimonial

Things which has to be changed:

1. Add a testimonial section on the website above the contact form.
2. The illustrations should not be added just simply add a Testimonial section similar to the referenced website.

Add Hover Effect over the the NavBar Items

I think nav on the top would look much more better than the side nav which is there right now!!

Migrate JavaScript from HTML to separate file

There seems to be a bit of JS added at the bottom of the HTML file and some in the script.js file. This makes debugging a bit difficult and hampers the readability and maintainability of the project in the long run.

I suggest to move all the JS into separate JS files.

If approved, I would like to take up this issue.

Add the content below the hero section!!

Add the Original content in the pink section below the header use a good font with the best alignment as given in the below image.

The email links not working

The mailing links of "Ritesh Yadav[Project Lead]" and "Shama Devi[Project Lead]" which are present at the bottom of Readme.md are not working properly. These links redirect to the "Page not found".

Want some Good Illustrations regarding the website.

The illustration is regarding:

• Mental Health
• Psychology
• Mental Health

Help:

• Take a look at freepik.com and other similar sites.

Raise the PR by creating a new folder named as illustration

Want it as soon as possible

Update of Header as a Image slider and Remove the present Header

Update the header as given in the reference website reference

Shift the logo to the center as in the reference website and some of the nav items to the top of the slider at the left and right of the logo but do not remove the navigation button.

And also add smooth scrolling to the items which are are present at the left and right of the logo also.

Make buttons interactive

Currently, the buttons are not interactive, making them dull.
On hover, the button colour can be changed and we can also add button shadow to give a 3D effect. It would add to site aesthetics.

If approved, I would like to take this feature.

We want a website loading animation similar to anyone of it.

If Lottie animation is implemented it would be great.
