WHMCS Module Installation instructions

1. Download and install WHMCS

2. Place the repository as epp directory in [WHMCS]/modules/registrars, place your key.pem and cert.pem files in the same epp directory.

3. Activate from Configuration -> Apps & Integrations -> (search for epp) -> Activate

4. Configure from Configuration -> System Settings -> Domain Registrars

5. Add a new TLD using Configuration -> System Settings -> Domain Pricing

6. Create a whois.json file in [WHMCS]/resources/domains and add the following:

whmcs-epp-rfc's Issues

Cannot connect to server "epp.server.tld"

Hi there! First of all, thank you for creating this module.

I'm trying to use it to connect to "registry.nic.mz" (port 700) but i'm getting this error:

I already have added the exceptions for the connection in the Firewall and it's connecting correctly:

In the Registrar module configuration, i've set the fields "EPP Server", "Server Port", "Client ID" and "Password" with the correct information. The other fields are empty.

authInfo code is invalid: password must be at least 16 characters

getting this while activating new orders.

Registry support and SSL?

Hello, are NORID (registry for .no tld) supported with this one?

also i am wondering since NORID, doesn't require SSL for the EPP connection, so i wonder if i do have to use a certificate in the communication?

Also there are these options which i don't quite get:

• Client ID
• Registrar Prefix

As a registrar at NORID we get assigned a "reg1xxx" which are our registrar identifier, as well we get a username, so which of those are which in the module?

No Transfer Options

When a transfer request is made on the domain name, please include ApproveTransfer, CancelTransfer and RejectTransfer buttons once a domain name is in transfer status, see attached as an example:

Enabling Registrar Lock Enables clientUpdateProhibited

Thank you for this good module!

I am busy testing this and found that once we have enabled the registrar lock, it also enables the domain status clientUpdateProhibited, which incline prevents you from disabling the registrar lock again or making any changes to the domain name.

Registrar lock should only enable clientTransferProhibited and clientDeleteProhibited as this is standard practice.

Auth/EPP Keys Too long

When requesting an Auth Code/EPP Key for transfer, I am presented with the following text dec8da9c7bd40e3cae51d7b2bf930ea3e19db55045304160a9aae69cf5fa11f7353526153691e47fc39868d705c32466a6b4569642bbd6b6bbxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx This is way too long. Can you look at shortening it?

after upload downloaded file, module is not showing in "Domain registrar Module config page"?

I have downloaded and uploaded the main file zip, after unzipping the file, went to the domain registrar config
the module is not listed there, why?

whmcs-epp-rfc issue with contacts

whmcs-epp-rfc issue with 'contacts' in epp.php in function epp_RegisterDomain
it try's to use non-existent contact for example
contact R3-BILLING1 but in namingo registry it doesn't exist ...
to my mind the function should have ability to create contact if the contact doesn't exist

Get EPP sends mail instead of showing code

Hi there again!

I see that you are getting the EPP Code and sending it to the Registrant Contact Email. It would be great if you could change this behavior or have an option for us to decide if we want to send the epp code via mail or show it to the client.

Note: I've changed the code myself to have this result, as you simply have it commented :)

No Domain Sync via Cron

Currently, its not possible to sync your domain names with the EPP system via cronjobs, as far as I can see. Do you have any plans to include this? To ensure domain names remain in sync with the registry, for domain status, expiry dates etc.

where to upload cert file

I have placed all certificates in the same Epp directory,
but it is not fetching the certificate to execute, when I check openssl it's connected with the server, but through the application, it says "Cannot connect to server 'epp.registry.in':"

Failed to read header from the connection

Hi,
I have configure certificate file and private key properly,
But I'm getting error of "Failed to read header from the connection"

Request | Accept DS Records

Please provide the option to add DS records to a domain name for DNSSec security. Should be able to add the following when adding a DS to a domain name:

• Algorithm
• Digest Type
• Digest
• Key Tag

This is specifically for the Cocca EPP system, if possible, please.
