Will the small tv also have the screen display of the cryptocurrency prices like the small tv pro?

Need to see the version the clock is running.

I am using V3.0.33.
I set Tokyo as the city name, but daylight savings time is set and the time is displayed one hour ahead.
There is no DST setting item in V3.0.33, where can I set it?

It looks like there are different source versions for this clock. My SSID shows up as Smart Weather Clock not GIFTV. When I enter AP mode the web page has no option to upload firmware. There seems to be no support for my version, I contacted the seller at AliExpress but got no response. Is there a way to upload your firmware via some other method? I have the Arduino IDE installed on my PC, could that be used to upload the bin file somehow?

My main issue is the city location, my version does not allow an ID to be input. So I cannot select the proper city, as my city exists in multiple areas in the USA.

After updating to version 2.4.3 a few days ago, the same symptoms as in the picture occurred.

the clock seems to be working just fine, but i am unable to get to the webserver page. after the update.

I received a smalltv with a defective display. I took it apart to look at the display model and try to replace it myself. I think I found a suitable display on AliExpress: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005005865455138.html Can you confirm that this display will fit?

Norwegian Meteorological Institute has a widely known and reliable international meteorological service. It is also more detailed in some cases. For example I can set my location on district level.

My firmware version is V3.0.33. I want to know where is the image, clock, and countdown functions' website in this version.

The following screenshot is my previous version's screen.

And I can choose the displayed themes between these themes.

I would like to add functionality to my SmallTV, as the esp has so many unused pins. I'm wanting to add an rfid reader so that I can put little "hats" on it that switch what it displays based on the rfid in each "hat". I would also like to add functionality to interface with my smart home network and display status of my thermostat, door camera, etc.

I would of course be releasing any of my modifications under a compatible open source license as well.

I have two products, but neither of them displays the weather.
Maybe there's an issue with the API. Is there a way to fix it?

It would be just amazing if you could share the source code.

i am running FW: 3.1.3 but am facing an issue with the "time"

i changed the FTP to my country and the time switched to 17:23, but it'a actualy 18:23

alao summer time mode i tried on or off, but nothing changed :-/

Also fir wheather, i signed up at openweather and got a new API as far as i know it takes a couple of hours before this is activated ?

My router died after I connected this device. Can I manually reset it, or flash it using esptool for example?

Hello, is it possible to add optional feature to set up password promp before entering config site of smalltv? At this moment configuration site is easy reachable for everyone who knows IP in more crowded wireless network what gives an opportunity to reset settings by unauthorized person.

I have downloaded the BIN file directly, totalling 128kb and selected to upload it but then get the message above.

the day light saving is not getting reflected after getting time from google time server ! it works after the reboot but gets back to the error state after connecting to the timeserver !

I try upgrade smalltv to ultra version and I have some issues so I try upload firmware via serial port but after this firmware does not work, neither ultra nor normal.
No wifi, no image on screen.
Esp8266 is workig I can upload programs via arduino and this is working
How to bring it back to life?

The link for downgrading from 3.1.4 to 3.0.33 does not work anymore. The smalltv now cannot function and the website keep appearing to be enter your location and not anyother option. The confirmation button also does not work.

After successfully updating the device with firmware version 3.1.1, I encountered an issue. Although the uploading process completed without any problems, I am unable to access the device's address.
A 404 error appears when I attempt to access.

The device itself appears to be functioning properly.

I have the latest firmware, but I can't view the weather icon. Is any way to view the weather icon correctly? Thanks.

I just bought one clock. And now I'm pretty interested cause I see it supports many languages. If it is possible to add custom languages or if there is a way to translate the UI to my language it would be good. I would like to do it. Is this possible? If yes please share the English source file.

I wanted to download the firmware of a Smalltv ultra to a normal Smalltv. Now the screen stays black and there is no function. Then I connected a USB programmer and used the Espressiv Flash Tool. The firmware is downloading, but no function. What can I download to bring the device back to life?

I'm using this cute little thing as a picture frame.
I change the pictures often
But It's so hard to upload pictures one at a time.
I hope there's a way to upload them all at once.
And it changes in the same order every time. I hope there's a function that changes randomly

After uploading a custom GIF, the clock seems like not loading the GIF and reboot itself. Then the clock start a reboot loop each time I plug it in. I've tried reboot, clean setting and even re update firmware but the file seems like stored in the clock and each time I choose "Upload your own GIF" it starts a new reboot loop.

i updated to latest 3.1.4 from 3.1.1, all good, until i put in my newly generated weather api key (valid...), then i get "err key" on top, and it even stopped updating the time using the ntp server... removing the api key once put in is not possible, so what to do? to get at least the time working, i had to click the "update" button near ntp server, but after every reboot it's gone again... for now i just factory resetted the device, put in just my city ID and wifi, and NO api key, and it started working again... so, what to do? thanks

I was having some problems with the weather so I decided to update the firmware to the latest version. That ended up causing more problems so I decide to go for the V3.0.33 to see if it would work and it did. The only problem is that the configuration screen before all the updates had more features (I could for example go to 192.168.18.211/images and configure my images to cycle between them), now I can only select a one from a couple of gifs and they are not even appering

Please add an option to let the user place the animation on the bottom left. Some gifs just fit better in that layout.

i have updated gif file . it consists 2 frames and every frame is delay time 3 seconds.

after updated gif on device . clock screen is shown every 3 seconds updated.

So, It is displayed in 3-second skips.

is fixed it in new version?? or gif file with more than 2 frames or delay times not supported?

The weather forecast screen only shows metric/celsius values even if the main weather screen has been set to imperial units/Fahreneheit.

smalltv and smalltv pro are interesting little devices :-). Thank you for having already prepared the ISP header so that it is easy to install a different firmware.

We are currently trying to develop an ESPhome configuration for the devices so that they can be used as a home assistant display. Unfortunately, we have not yet managed to bring the display to life. Would you be willing to tell us a little more about the display and the GPIO ports used?
