I enabled the wiki on this repo. I suggest we collaborate there and make a PR to tutorials (which goes in the ignitionrobotics.org site) once the documentation has settled.

I tried to use the README on this page to install Ignition and had issues (can go into detail if needed). The binary install instructions at https://ignitionrobotics.org/docs/blueprint/install worked.

Suggestion to link to the most up-to-date installation page instead

I tried the binary install first

"Binary Install" (https://github.com/ignitionrobotics/ign-gazebo/blob/master/))

I tried:

sudo sh -c 'echo "deb http://packages.osrfoundation.org/gazebo/ubuntu-stable lsb_release -cs main" > /etc/apt/sources.list.d/gazebo-stable.list'
sudo sh -c 'echo "deb http://packages.osrfoundation.org/gazebo/ubuntu-prerelease lsb_release -cs main" > /etc/apt/sources.list.d/gazebo-prerelease.list'
wget http://packages.osrfoundation.org/gazebo.key -O - | sudo apt-key add -
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install libignition-gazebo-dev

Then tried to run "ign gazebo", but it only showed the help prompt for any combination of commands/options I used.

I turned off the wiki on this repo.

All tutorials should go to the tutorials folder in this repo. Any documentation that spans multiple repositories, and/or has a larger scope than a specific repo, should go to #!/ignitionrobotics/docs.
