The idea is to create a /appshell page, which will load only the application shell and no content. This page will be cached into the Service Workers and loaded immediately, and it will subsequently load the requested URL. This way the website will be faster, since it's not loading the whole page, but doing a JSON load of it, and while waiting for this request it will have completed setting up the shell.
