Installation

• Install Node.js + npm
• npm i -g d4sd@latest
  • (or use yarn global add d4sd@latest)
  • (or replace d4sd with npx d4sd@latest for all commands)

Usage

Basic usage
d4sd -u <user> <...books>

Specify a password and an output folder
d4sd -u <user> -p <password> -o ./download/ <...books>

Download specific books using a glob pattern
d4sd -u [email protected] -o ./download/ "Grundlagen d?? Elektrotechnik (2|3)*"

Download your whole shelf
d4sd -u [email protected] -o ./download/ "*"

Download a book using an url
d4sd -u [email protected] "https://digi4school.at/ebook/xxxxxxxxxxxx" ("another url"...)

Download a book from Scook
d4sd -s scook -u [email protected] "https://www.scook.at/produkt/xxxxxxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxxxxxx"

Download a book from Trauner DigiBox
d4sd -s trauner -u [email protected] "Englisch *"

More options can be found with d4sd -h.

Note: On Linux, make sure to use single quotes ' instead of ".

Slow internet connections

On slow networks I'd recommend setting the timeout to a higher value
d4sd -u <user> -t 180000 "*"

Some books in Digi4School forward to Westermann BiBox. Those books should also be downloadable.

How do download Scook?

One of the features says Scook, but i dont see how it works.

Books which are not in A4 format get ruined in download

When trying to download books which are not in DIN A4 format, the pages get squished in the height of A4 and the width is then larger than A4 and the content just gets cut off on the right side.

add support for Trauner DigiBox

I would like to be able to download books from Trauner DigiBox (https://www.trauner-digibox.com/) by logging in to their account.

Scook.at download does not work.

Scook.at download does not work. I also get this headless warning when trying to download it. But nothing happens and it just times out

I already tried a very high timout time.

Help would be appreciated

Some books are not found.

Most books work perfectly, but there are some that are just not found for some reason.

As you see the Prime Time one is not found by your tool, but global is.

Both are in my account and working.

Any reason why this could be happening.
It could also be quite useful if you could just specify the URL of the book like this: https://a.digi4school.at/ebook/6415/1001
