helm install on minikube fails with PersistentVolumeClaim issues

I have the latest minikube v0.23.0 running on Virtualbox, on osx, with Kubernetes v1.8.0.
I've also installed the latest helm and initialized it for the minikube k8s cluster.

After the installer reports success, I notice that the persistent volumes have a failure:

Am I missing something about the gestalt k8s install process?

I tried to install gestalt-platform for Docker CE for Desktop with Kubernetes but have got error.
`$ ./install-gestalt-platform docker-for-desktop.conf

Checking environment...

[Error] 'read' not found, aborting.`

I don't understand what exactly happens. Can you help me?
