Description: This module provides two blocks which do a input/output of MIDI messages.

- Midi pdu source gets the MIDI messages from the system and outputs PDUs with the bytes of the message.
It has parameters to give a custom name to the port and the conexion.
Also it can ignore the system exclusive messages, the timing messages and the active sensing messages.

- Midi pdu sink get PDUs messages with the MIDI message bytes and outputs the MIDI message to the system.

This module only supports currently linux with Jack audio connection kit.
More OS compatibility will be available soon.

Installation:

Jack audio connection kit is needed for this module.

I suggest to install jack with Qjackctl.
sudo apt-get install qjackctl

The installation process is as follows:

git clone https://github.com/GabrielPaniagua/gr-midi
cd gr-midi
mkdir build
cd build/
cmake ../
make
sudo make install
sudo ldconfig
