dbschema relies on python's glob.glob function, which explicitly states (emphasis mine):

The glob module finds all the pathnames matching a specified pattern according to the rules used by the Unix shell, although results are returned in arbitrary order.

I expect to file a PR with a quick-and-dirty solution for this today.

Setting a host parameter in the config file is ignored: it always attempts to connect to localhost.

This appears to be because of:

Presumably this should read .get('host', 'localhost') instead?

PyMySQL v0.8 includes a breaking change related to running multi-statement queries.

Function get_date_lock gets created but table abc is ignored

It's pretty much essential to use TLS/SSL for a remote connection, but there's no way to do that currently.

For PyMYSQL we'd need a way to set the CA cert at the very least.

I'm not sure what's needed to make this work for Postgres, I don't use it regularly.
